Job Description

DriveSavers is looking to fill a Data Recovery Support position. The right candidate will have good attention to detail and has familiarity with computers.

This support position involves:

  • Physically walking customer jobs to appropriate locations
  • Using computers to create and maintain customer backups
  • Taking apart and putting together computer equipment

Required Skills and Experience

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous job position where multitasking was required
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Data Recovery Engineer—Novato, CA

Job Description

We are looking for a candidate who is excited to learn the art of data recovery.

The right candidate will have troubleshooting experience on the Macintosh platform with 2–4 years experience as one of the following:

  • IT
  • Help Desk
  • Desktop Support
  • Apple Genius
  • Apple Expert

Required Skills and Experience

  • Education: Undergraduate coursework or equivalent
  • ACMT preferred, but not required
  •  2–4 years experience in an IT / Help Desk / Desktop Support / Apple Genius / Apple Expert environment
  • Familiarity with all native Apple applications
  • Demonstrated experience in information technology operations
  • Familiarity of all Apple products including iPhone, iPad and Time Capsule
  • Using Terminal to complete tasks
  • Must have passion for staying ahead of current and future technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Great customer service skills are required as you will need to work with customers over the phone for some projects
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Able to analyze and evaluate customer needs

Customer Service Representative in Novato, CA

DriveSavers Customer Service Representative

Job duties include:
Making outbound calls to customers:
– report engineers’ findings and provide pricing for data recovery projects
– follow up on customers’ decision regarding proceeding with recovery service
– provide recovery results
– collect payment
Answering incoming calls
Acting as liaison between recovery engineers and customers
Fielding questions about the data recovery process and pricing
Coordinating return shipment of hardware and data
Resolving any customer issues or concerns
Facilitating clear and efficient interdepartmental communication

Desirable qualifications:
Positive, professional attitude
Attention to detail
Great interpersonal skills
Ability to be productive and effective
Ability to communicate clearly

Sales and customer service experience a plus.

Shift to be determined within a 6:00am and 5:30pm timeframe Monday-Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year
