RAID 0 Recovery Expertise

RAID 0 splits (“stripes”) data evenly across two or more hard drives without parity information, redundancy, or fault tolerance. This makes is a fairly simple system to set up. However, because RAID 0 provides no fault tolerance or redundancy, the failure of one drive will cause the entire array to fail since data is striped across all disks. The main reason a RAID 0 configuration is typically implemented is because of speed and performance. Caching live streaming video and video editing are common uses for RAID 0 due to speed and performance.
Since RAID 0 does not use data redundancy, the failure of any physical drive in the striped disk set results in the loss of the data on the striped unit and, consequently, the loss of the entire data set stored across the set of striped hard disks. In such a case data recovery is the only option to prevent permanent loss of data.
Every RAID Servers and Configurations
RAID data recovery is a DriveSavers specialism, and our expertise covers every RAID level and configuration. From HDDs and SSDs to individual RAID setups running from RAID 0 to RAID Z3, we handle a broad range of RAID servers and media from major brands such as HP, Dell and IBM.
You can trust DriveSavers to recover your critical RAID data reliably.

Every Hardware Type
HDDs, SSDs and NAND Flash, across interfaces including PATA/SATA, SAS, SCSI, iSCSI, eSATA, PCI and PCIE.
Every RAID Make
Standalone systems, SAN and NAS, plus HP ProLiant, Dell PowerEdge, IBM xSeries, Supermicro, Intel, AMD, EMC, NetApp and more.

Why RAID Systems Fail
There are many reasons a RAID can fail: hardware malfunctions, human error, software glitches and application mishaps among them. Whether you need RAID array or RAID drive data recovery, we are here to help.
- Corrupted RAID configuration
- Environmental damage (lightning, flooding, fire, storm)
- Physical abuse or damage from vibration
- Overheating
- Intermittent or multiple drive failures
- Power problems (surges, power supply burnout or failure, circuit faults)
- RAID controller failure
- Incompatible drives
- Damaged connectors
- Manufacturer defects
- Accidental deletion or reformatting (files, drives, arrays, partitions)
- Wrong media replaced
- Overwritten files, databases, or RAID settings
- Employee sabotage
- Lost or forgotten passwords
- Incorrect RAID setup
- Backup or software failures
- Virus or worm infection
- Corrupt or missing files and data
- Directory or firmware corruption
- Configuration errors (server registry, RAID)
- Files that won’t load or run
- Corrupted or locked databases
- Deleted tables
Your RAID Data Recovery Options
The experienced DriveSavers team is just a phone call away to consult with you on the most effective data recovery option. While most of our work is conducted at our secure California facility, we recognise that some complex server configurations, such as RAID, NAS, and SAN systems, may necessitate more flexible options to address specific challenges.
At our UK lab
Most devices are sent to our certified secure lab and recovered under our Economy, Standard, or Priority service.
Remote
Our secure Remote Data Recovery service covers many data loss situations that don’t involve mechanical or physical damage.
Onsite
Onsite Data Recovery is available for certain data loss scenarios.
Businesses Worldwide Choose DriveSavers
DriveSavers supports over 20,000 data recovery business partners worldwide. Your business could be next! DriveSavers is proud to count world-renowned organisations among its satisfied clients — including Coca-Cola, Meta, Google, AT&T, Sony, and NASA.
Data Security
During Data Recovery
Plenty of data recovery companies claim the same experience, service and security as DriveSavers. We can back it up: SSAE 18, SOC 2, ISO Class 5 Cleanroom, PCI DSS and UK GDPR. See the proof.

Experts You Can Trust with Your RAID
Our RAID data recovery engineers draw on over 40 years in the industry, bringing deep technical know-how to every case and helping us achieve one of the strongest RAID recovery rates in the business. We retrieve data from all operating systems and high-capacity devices, including RAID systems, NAS, SAN and multi-disk servers. Organisations of every size rely on us to consistently recover lost databases, ERP and accounting systems, mail servers and other mission-critical data.
No two manufacturers build RAID devices the same way, and our engineers understand each one’s unique components and configurations in depth. Technical partnerships with RAID system and controller manufacturers give us exclusive access to methods, tools and technologies that help us recover RAID data from SSDs, HDDs and intricate hybrid storage systems.
Manufacturer Approved
All leading storage media manufacturer authorise DriveSavers to open the sealed mechanism of its drives without voiding the original warranty. Because our recovery service is certified, you are also entitled to an in-warranty replacement device direct from the manufacturer.
Our Certified ISO Cleanroom Gives Your Drive the Best Chance
DriveSavers operates the industry’s largest state-of-the-art Certified ISO Cleanroom environment. To ensure the best possible outcomes in data recovery, all hard disk drive physical recovery operations take place in the DriveSavers state-of-the-art Cleanroom setting — the industry’s pinnacle of controlled environments.
Our Certified ISO Class 5 Cleanroom follows the guidelines set by the leading hard drive and storage manufacturers. Inside it, engineers examine failed HDDs,check them for physical defects and make precise component-level repairs. Our recovery methods won’t invalidate the original hard drive warranty.
Opening a hard drive anywhere else is a gamble, as the image shows: tiny airborne particles settle on the exposed platters, upset the read-write heads and can damage the platter surface during recovery. Learn more.

X-Ray Technology
We use X-ray imaging to diagnose storage media precisely, spotting irregularities and critical damage without risking the device. It lets us confirm suspected component failure, widens what we can recover and validates our ball grid array (BGA) rework. Noother data recovery service has this technology in its lab.
