When a cyber attack hits a city government, the impact goes far beyond IT systems — it affects essential services, community trust, and the lives of residents. Built In recently featured an article by Andy Maus, Head of Cyber Recovery Services at DriveSavers Data Recovery, with insights and the lessons learned from Minnesota's City of St. Paul’s security breach.
Forbes FYI Magazine: Kelly, at Your Server

Losing a hard drive is like losing a part of yourself. When it happens, reasonable people can become blubbering fools. That’s why DriveSavers, a 19-year old data recovery company, hired Kelly Chessen. She used to work at a Northern California suicide-prevention hotline.
Now she’s DriveSavers’ official data crisis counselor, comforting poor souls whose computers have been melted in fires, dropped into rivers, run over by cars and in one case, shot. “Sometimes people will threaten to throw their computers out the window,” says Kelly. “Hard drive failure happens every day, but it doesn’t happen to everybody every day,” she continues. “A lot of [my job] is explaining that it’s normal, and that there is a solution.” (800) 440-1904
