Mandalyn Martini, a high school math teacher from Layton, Utah, recently shared her story of data loss and recovery. After storing 15 years of priceless family photos and important documents on an external hard drive, she faced a devastating moment when the device stopped working, leaving her unable to access memories including her daughters’ baby pictures.
DriveSavers on the Road
DriveSavers has a very active trade show schedule this year. If you’re interested, here’s the schedule for the next few weeks.
Imaging USA – We’ll be attending Imaging USA, one of the biggest photography-centric trade shows in the country. When a pro photographer loses client pictures to a hard drive failure, DriveSavers is there to save the day. This year’s professional photography conference is in Atlanta and it runs from January 20-22.
Legal Tech – This is the largest legal technology trade show in the country. DriveSavers works with the legal community on data recovery issues and also forensic analysis and investigations. This year, the legal conference is being held in New York City at the Hilton New York from January 29-31.
Please drop by the DriveSavers booth and introduce yourself if you plan on attending either of these shows.
One of DriveSavers data recovery experts, Chris Bross, was a panelist at the recent Storage Visions show in Las Vegas.
Bross participated in a panel discussion titled, “Safe at Last: Protecting, Storing and Recovering Personal and Commercial Content.”
The panelists discussed different challenges facing the security and confidentiality of stored content, including data on mobile devices as well as at home, at work and in the cloud.
