Hi, my name is Ben Williams. I’m a registered patent agent. And this is my daughter Adeline. I used DriveSavers to recover data from my hard drive, and they were excellent. Well, I had a portable hard drive which I dropped a couple of times, and even though it rattled a little bit, it was working just fine. Until somebody unplugged it accidentally, and then the file access tree disappeared.

Gosh, it had about 20 years of data on it, from scribblings that I had done in my 20s to a failed attempted novel, among a whole bunch of other stuff, including an entire library of PDFs of rare books that aren’t available to the public.

DriveSavers was great to work with. I especially enjoyed the packaging being sent with the label prepaid.

It took about a week to get the data back, but they managed to recover 100% of the data. So that was fantastic. The guy I originally took it to, said he might be able to get about 60% of the data back. There was a scratch, a mechanical failure, and a scratch on the actual drive itself.
