But this photographer\u2019s data loss scenario is different. Sal Cincotta is an international award winning photographer, author, educator and trainer. While his clients\u2019 images and files were securely backed up, he learned a good lesson about backing up his own personal computer when he lost over 477,000 critical files. He received an error message. So, why in the world am I not backing up my laptop?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With his laptop out of commission and his emails and business files inaccessible, Cincotta quickly realized that he was out of work \u2013 at least for the time being. Stopping work for a week or more could set Cincotta\u2019s studio back for weeks or maybe, even months.<\/p>\n<p>Cincotta is a member of Wedding Photographers International (WPPI) and a platform speaker at WPPI Conference this week.
