Ze legde uit hoe DriveSavers-engineers beschadigde chips in een iPhone met elkaar \u201cverheerlijken\u201d [better: \u201ckoppelen\u201d] tot \u00e9\u00e9n werkend geheel, waarom een chiptransplantatie soms de laatste optie is, en deelde haar favoriete verhalen uit ons Museum of Bizarre Diskasters, waaronder een smartphone die netjes doormidden was gesneden op een monorailspoor en een telefoon die in een oven werd gebakken nadat hij via MagSafe aan een bakplaat was blijven kleven.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly Chessen, voormalig Data Crisis Counselor bij DriveSavers, die bij het bedrijf kwam nadat zij had gewerkt voor een zelfmoordpreventie- en crisishulplijn, beschreef haar eerdere rol waarin zij bellers hielp bij het verwerken van de emotionele kant van dataverlies.
