Comme son nom l'indique, ce type de m\u00e9moire primaire permet uniquement de lire les donn\u00e9es, mais pas de les \u00e9crire. La ROM est une forme rapide de m\u00e9moire non volatile, ce qui signifie que les donn\u00e9es stock\u00e9es dans la ROM sont permanentes et restent enregistr\u00e9es m\u00eame lorsque l'ordinateur est \u00e9teint.
